- In 1991, Val-Tech Data Consultants was established in Bergen
County, New Jersey. The company was started by Roy Havekost
who specialized in database information development, maintenance
and storage, primarily for law enforcement agencies. Roy
received his computer education at Bergen Community College in
Paramus, N.J. In the late 1980's, Roy also instructed at the
Bergen County Police & Fire Academy in Mahwah, N.J., teaching
database creation and file management.
- PageAuthors was established in 1996 as a subsidiary
company of Val-Tech, specializing in web page authoring and
design. As the internet became more popular, web sites for individuals and companies were
more in demand,
but reputable designers were hard to find. Today, PageAuthors
continues to offer complete internet web services, page authoring,
digital graphics and animation services, virtual tour and
digital photography services. We are also a hosting reseller
company.
- Small businesses have become our
specialty. 'Small businesses that use the
Internet have grown 46% faster than those that do not' -
as stated in the American City Business Journals. Small
business owners generally do not have the time, nor the staff,
to learn the concepts of web design. Their focus is on their
